Frye Regional Medical Center’s South Campus is an 81-bed behavioral health hospital providing crisis stabilization for adults who suffer from emotional, behavioral and addictive difficulties.




  • Charge nurse responsibilities
  • Direct nurse/patient care duties, therapy procedures, techniques, or patient care
  • Medication administration and monitoring
  • Treatment team responsibilities
  • Assistance with  performance of special procedures, techniques, or patient care
  • Patient and family teaching, counseling and therapeutic intervention
  • Student and staff orientation and mentoring
  • Nursing care planning and management.
  • Attendance Policy
  • Communications
  • Adherence to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices


Supervised By:     Clinical Director of Nursing or designee
Supervises:            LPN, MHT/C.N.A.



  • Current Registered Nurse License
  • CPR Certified


  • Prior Med Surg. and/or Psych experience preferred
  • No previous experience required. 
    • Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within 3 months.
