Production Worker (3rd shift)


Production Worker

Starting Pay: $18-19/hr.

Performs job duties in the converting department and other duties as related to the economy of the operation, quality and quantity of product, cleanliness of the area, and work performed in a safe manner.

Principle accountabilities:

  1. Knowledge and practice of all safety procedures in the area.
  2. Collect data and complete record keeping requirements.
  3. Knowledge of production specifications and quality requirements.
  4. Change-over, start-up, monitor, and adjust operating condition to maintain quality, production and safety standards on the production equipment.
  5. Use measuring and weighing tools and devices.
  6. Perform routine maintenance, including but not limited to cleaning equipment, lubricating equipment, making adjustments and fixing minor mechanical problems.
  7. Related tasks as requested by supervisor


Shift start: 11:00PMShift length: 8 hours, 30 minute lunch, and two 15 minute breaks.Monday-Friday, some Saturday work


  • DOH – Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
  • Pension – After 4-Month Probation Period (Local 773)


  • Must pass drug screen
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience with basic math, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work with others as a team member.
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance record.
  • Ability to understand and work with metric measures and volumes.
  • Previous machine operating related experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 60lbs., climb stairs, walk, and stand a significant part of the shift.
  • Ability to work in high humidity and high temperature environments.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Forklift experience a plus.
