Sanitation General Laborer – Full Time, 3rd Shift

Seeking a motivated Sanitation General Laborer to join our team. Responsible for sanitizing work areas in an upbeat production environment.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM; 6-day work week.
Starting hourly pay of $18, plus shift differential.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

Assists with preparing equipment including set ups, tear downs, and changeovers.
Cleans and sanitizes work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.
Requests chemicals, supplies, and/or equipment whenever needed through the Supervisor or the Team Leader.
Maintains and suggests changes that may increase the life of the sanitation equipment and PPE.
Ensures that all sanitation containers are properly labelled.
Communicates with Supervisors, Line Leads, and other Operators on quality and production of material.
Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required .
High School Diploma/GED, preferred.

SKILLS:

Ability to do basic math and use calculators.
Ability to use tools and perform minor repairs as needed.
Previous food manufacturing or warehouse experience helpful.
Ability to do heavy lifting in a fast-paced production environment.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
Speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
